Testimonials

Head Teacher at Holly Lodge Science College:

Ian has made a really valuable contribution to the development of our new sixth form. He has also helped us tremendously in the evaluation of the work of key departments in the school.

Head Teacher at Batman's Unit:

Ian Crawford has been superb in helping our Unit and the wider Sandwell learning community learn about and set up Foundation Learning. He has offered myself and our staff support, knowledge and challenge. I am completely confident his guidance has enhanced our already personalised offer to our young people. Ian is extremely professional, keeps abreast of new government directives; these allied with a very approachable manner and a keen focus on the needs of the institution ensures that the service Ian gives is of the topmost quality.

Head of Oakham Centre:

Ian became known to the Oakham Centre via his role as 14-19 Curriculum Advisor and has supported the Oakham Centre over the past 12 months or so, initially to give advice on the implementation of accredited courses and functional skills. He was very adept at understanding the circumstance to which the Pupil Referral Unit operates and the challenges that our establishment faces. During each meeting that took place Ian always provided the centre with appropriate and understandable written information for us to keep and refer back to. He gave very clear and sound advice which enabled us to make informed choices and forward plan for the future.

Ian has supported the Centre above and beyond his advisory role. He volunteered to join our Management Committee and has played a key role in supporting the Centre and being a critical friend.

He is reliable, professional, a clear communicator, innovative, resilient, and has a thorough understanding of the educational environment wherever it may be set.
